NWA Leadership Academy Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this certificate program, participants will be able to:
- Describe and prepare strategies to address major challenges facing WIC leaders in the next 5 years.
- Understand and apply leadership theory to the current and future WIC workplace settings.
- Apply, through the use of hands-on assignments, the essential elements of succession planning and transition activities.
- Develop methods to solve challenges in WIC service delivery, access and client service.
- Apply the WIC body of literature in introducing innovation and application of WIC values within specific programs. Participants will also know how to access the ongoing contributions of WIC writers and program innovators and how to keep abreast of major developments.
- Manage all aspects of the WIC mission and site management.
